The Moscow Festival Ballet was founded in 1989 when legendary principal dancer of the Bolshoi Ballet, Sergei Radchenko, had a vision. he would join together the highest classical elements of both of the great Russian companies - the Bolshoi and the Kirov - creating a new and independent company that honors the Russian tradition. leading dancers from across Russia have come together under Radchenko’s direction to forge a company that stages new productions of timeless classics such as Giselle, Don Quixote, Paquita and Carmen.
